Differential expression of alkaline phosphatase gene in proliferating primary lymphocytes and malignant lymphoid cell lines

Highlights • APase gene is upregulated specifically in mitogen activated murine B lymphocytes. • APase gene is not expressed in activated murine and human T lymphocytes and T cell lines. • Pase activity correlated with its gene expression in human myeloma cell line.
