Zusammenfassung:In South Korea, the issue of organ donation has been publicized more actively at the national the Law on Transplantation of Internal Organs, in 2000. Brain death management coordinators play an important role in the process of organ donation and transplantation. This study aimed to identify the stressful experiences and job-related problems of brain death management coordinators. This is descriptive research to examine the stress brain death management coordinators might feel in managing the brain-dead. A survey was conducted by convenience sampling with 52 brain death management coordinators, and the data were collected using a structured self-administered questionnaire. In this study, we identified the stress brain death management coordinators might feel in each process of managing the brain-dead. It is necessary to develop a plan to manage the stress for the coordinators and further research should be conducted to make an improvement plan in which the findings from this study can be applied.
