Zusammenfassung: | Danowski revisits an article published on Feb 7, 1966 about the shortage of newspapers in New York City. The answer to the shortage lies in reading the New York Times 14 days late or, preferably, later. Under this scheme the reader has a supply of newspapers less likely to be interrupted, and ultimately develops a sense of perspective, judgment, and aloof serenity which renders any newspaper strike ineffective. To anyone who might object that this scheme lacks appeal because the news isn't fresh, he offers a data culled from a week-day issue of the New York Times. |
