Difference in white matter microstructure in differential diagnosis of normal pressure hydrocephalus and Alzheimer's disease

Highlights • Compared to AD, NPH is considered to be potentially reversible cause of dementia. • There are WM microstructure alterations in NPH as compared to AD and controls. • Findings support the utility of non-invasive DTI in differential diagnosis of NPH.
