Laryngitis obscuring an anterior glottic mass

The mass was benign in appearance, but it was impairing complete glottic closure anteriorly. Because the patient's symptoms had been easing with voice therapy and LPR treatment, we recommended continuation of conservative management rather than excision of the mass.
