Zusammenfassung:An improved genetic algorithm for determining landing gear load was proposed by considering the elimination of the redundant strain gages. Exhaustive search (ES), genetic algorithm (GA) and improved genetic algorithm (IGA) were compared for building load equation of certain landing gear. Also, the sensibility of IGA to parameter K was analyzed. The results show that the validation errors of load equations from 3 methods are almost comparable, while the redundancy from IGA is less than those from ES and GA, and IGA is not very sensitive to parameter K between 0 and 1.
