Zusammenfassung:In order to explore the change of relationship between the white spirit industrial modernization and the city formation in Luzhou city, China, we examined the relationship of more than a century and divided them into 3 periods according to China's economic system: the infancy period of market economy, the planned economy period and the market economic period. In conclusion, we can say that the white spirit industry modernization shaped the scattered urban structure of Luzhou city nowadays.
