Talk Factories in Chile: Preliminary Notes on the Materiality and Subjectivity of Work in Call Centers

This article presents the preliminary results of PhD's research aimed at discovering the subjetivity and materiality of the work in the Call Centers focus in Chile. A salary defined with unattainable goals, abuse, and exhaustion of a new type of double extraction: productive and reproductive value as women's workers and their families. Also the exploitation of subjective capacities, among other things, show new forms that asssumes job's insecurity and precariousness. The talking factories as a clear example of the forms which take place by the organization of work in the contemporary labor conditions scene. Adapted from the source document.
