On sustainable development of marine resources in Bohai Sea

The Bohai, the largest inland sea in China, is abundant in marine resources. However, with the rapid economic growth in the Circum-Bohai Bay Area in the recent years, the environmental pollution in this area has become more and more serious, resulting in a substantial decline and deterioration of marine resources. In view of this critical situation, the method for sustainable development of marine resources in the Bohai Sea is discussed, and practical measures and feasible suggestions are put forward in this paper with the purpose of preventing and controlling environmental pollution as well as natural disasters, and eventually achieving the aim of the sustainable development of marine resources in this area.
