Zusammenfassung: | Allow me to introduce you to a man ?who has deeply impacted the landscape of consumer electronics as we know it today. Just who is Dr. Ralph Baer? He is a small-statured, older-?looking man, though looking quite well for his 91 years. He is a man who is modest, soft-spoken, and carries himself in a very ?matter of fact? way. If you were to casually meet him at a diner, you would probably not recognize who he is nor would you know for what he is famous. Heaven knows, he would never bring it up himself (though I have, on occasion, to lend him some accolade and to see the reactions of others). Ralph is not a hip-hop artist, has never acted in movies, and is not the star of his own reality program. I guess that is why you probably wouldn?t recognize his face. However, just type ?Ralph Baer? or ?father of video games? into Google and you will get literally millions of results. |
