Zusammenfassung:The association of HLA class II alleles to susceptibility to bronchial asthma (BA) in Uzbek population has never been investigated. Immunogenetic peculiarities in allelic and haplotypic profiles were studied in 108 adult patients and 118 healthy unrelated people. Molecular genotyping was performed on their HLA DRB1 and DQB1 genes using PCR-SSP technique with 1.5% agar-gel electrophoresis. HLA-DRB1*03 allele was significantly higher in the common group of patients with atopic and nonatopic BA than in healthy controls (16.67% vs 5.49%, P
