Zusammenfassung:In this paper, we discuss the effect of anisotropy on optical outcoupling in organic LEDs or OLEDs. We focus on different forms of anisotropy that can be found in OLEDs and the impact they can have on outcoupling efficiency. We discuss the emitter orientation and the anisotropy in the refractive indices of the electron transport layer, the hole transport layer and the emitting layer.
