Zusammenfassung: | Leachate is a complex wastewater produced through the decomposition and of waste in landfills. Little is known about the method of leachate modified oxidation disinfection of this study was conducted to investigate the possibility of using modified oxidation to remove coliform bacteria from the leachate. This was an experimental study conducted on the leachate of an urban compost plant. The experiments were performed in 0, 20, 40, 60, 80 min, with ozone concentration of 0 and 5 g h super( -1) and the copper nanoparticles concentration of 0/01, 0/03, 0/05 g L super( -1). Statistical analysis of 90 samples of leachate were studied using SPSS 16 software. The copper concentrations of 0/01 g L super( -1) was able to remove 66% of coliform from leachate but when this concentration was associated with a concentration of 5 g h super( -1) ozone, up to 91% of coliform was removed. |
