Zusammenfassung:The exploration of Wushu activities carried out in Mount Wudang from the remote antiquity to the period of Warring States by means of literature study, practical investigation, consultation with experts, etc. The results of the studies showed that the survival and competition of the ape-men in the remote antiquity and the tribal war gave birth to the primitive Wudang Wushu. And the ancestors of Chu people valued greatly the martial arts and established states and capitals, which developed Wushu activities in Mount Wudang. The invasion of Qin and Ba areas gave the original formation and development of the Wudang Wushu system.
