Experiment on high yield of fishes and ducks mixed farming in the same fish pond

The paper reported the technical measures for mixed farming fishes and ducks, and preliminarily inquired into the optimum farming model of fishes and ducks in the same fish pond. According to the model, the big-sized fingerlings must be stocked, of which the fish feeding on plankton accounts for 45%, the omnivorous fish 5% and the bottom fish 50%; 120 ducks are farmed on the water area per mu. The per mu pure income was 9.21674 thousand yuan, raised 300% in comparison with the monoculture of fishes.
