While Lauder is charmed by the decor of the Austrian Alps, no buffalo checks or knotty pine can be found in her home. Yet the lifestyle mogul -- she recently launched a collection of fabrics, wallcoverings, and bedding -- does bow to tradition when it comes to setting the table. "I love a mix of patterns, colors, and textures, and lots of layers," she says.
