The 2063 Agenda and the application of principles of good governance: the case of Côte d'Ivoire

The Agenda 2063 promotes unity, prosperity and security for Africa. It will not be accomplished without a global involvement, through the application of « good governance ». In Ivory Coast, a number of initiatives and institutions have been set up to achieve it. The President Alassane Ouattara strive to restore State Authority and purge corruption. Enhancement of public services and Administration efficiency will be essential - as is the « good governance » - to the development of Ivory Coast. //ABSTRACT IN FRENCH: L'unité, la prospérité et la sécurité promues par l'Agenda 2063 pour l'Afrique ne pourront se réaliser que par une mobilisation de tous. Celle-ci passe par l'application des principes de « bonne gouvernance ». En Côte d'Ivoire, un certain nombre de mesures et d'institutions ont été mises en place pour concrétiser ces principes et mettre fin au climat d'insécurité nationale. Le Président Alassane Ouattara s'attelle fermement à restaurer l'autorité de l'État et assainir le pays de la corruption. L'amélioration des services publics et l'efficacité de l'Administration seront indispensables - avec la « bonne gouvernance » - au développement de la Côte d'Ivoire.
