Zusammenfassung:Criticism of AFF Architekten's Anna Seghers School building in Berlin. It has little to do with the existing buildings and passers-by may miss the architectural gem hidden behind them - a long narrow wedge in a suburban landscape of allotment gardens. Internal planning is simple; externally, surface animation is achieved by panels that give a sense of being wrapped in a delicate, perforated carapace. A theme of percolation extends to the interiors, a different world in which virtually everything is finished in bright yellow. The children identify with the strong character of the building's design. (Quotes from original text)
