Estimating the costs of the vaccine supply chain and service delivery for selected districts in Kenya and Tanzania

Highlights • Estimated the costs of Kenya and Tanzania's vaccine supply chain and immunization delivery. • Supply chain costs per dose were higher at the lower levels of the supply chain. • We found large variances in estimated costs across the facilities. • Human resource costs account for the largest share of total costs at the service delivery levels. • Costs for providing immunization services are higher than supply chain costs.
