International Association for Great Lakes Research Five Year Plan: 1999–2004: Work Plan to Achieve the Five Year Plan Objectives

The Primary Objectives for the Five Year Plan (1999-2004) are to: promote Research and Education on the Great Lakes and other Large Lakes of the World; continue to Improve the Quality and Scientific Prestige of the Journal of Great Lakes Research; improve the Quality and Management of the Annual Conference on Great Lakes Research; and to ensure the Integrity and the Longevity of the Association will be Achieved by Focusing on Membership Retainment and Growth, and by Assuring the Association's Financial Stability. Within each objective a number of initiatives are required by the Directors, Officers, and Committees. The framework against which the Board of Directors and Committee Chairs will report on progress to the Association at its annual meeting is provided.
