Zusammenfassung:Artificial siderophore-Fe3+ complexes were prepared and modified with Au nanoparticles. These nanoparticles were found to selectively adsorb onto microbes and initiate selective aggregation. The aggregation of microbes leads to the amplification of the detection sensitivity when measured using siderophore-modified quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) sensors.
