Zusammenfassung:The activation of the archeological site of Ciudad Sagrada de Quilmes is analyzed as cultural patrimony of the province of Tucuman, and its reconstruction for touristic purposes during the 70s. It aims to demonstrate how -through the relationship of state agents, landowners, archeologists and local population- several control mechanisms and power exercises took part in the ideological model in which the Argentinian government at the time took action; as well as other subordination modes carried out at other times.
