Zusammenfassung:	Highlights • We provided evidence for the first time that a new cocktail including two well-known antigens of Brucella melitensis elicits a dominant immune response as well as a strong humoral immune response. • This cocktail provides a degree of protection against B. melitensis challenge in mice. • This cocktail can be viewed as a promising candidate for the development of a subunit vaccine against brucellosis.
