Zusammenfassung:Research to investigate the effects of medium and cultivation time of Emericella nidulans on the emestrin concentration yielded has been done. The fungal was cultivated in two different mediums ie. Malt Extract Broth (MEB) and soluble starch-water-soytone (SWS) for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 weeks. The concentration of emestrin was analyzed using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The highest biomass and concentration of emestrin was resulted from 5 weeks cultivation in SWS medium.Original Abstract: Penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis media dan waktu kultivasi terhadap kadar senyawa emestrin dari kapang Emericella nidulans telah dilakukan. Kapang dikultivasi dalam 2 jenis media yaitu malt extract broth (MEB) dan soluble starch-water-soytone (SWS) dalam waktu 1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5 minggu. Kadar emestrin dianalisis dengan menggunakan kromatografi cair kinerja tinggi (KCKT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah biomassa dan kadar emestrin tertinggi dihasilkan Enidulans yang dikultivasi dalam media SWS selama 5 minggu.
