Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents a methodology designated to assess more accurately the energy output of wind power plants. The conventional methodology used nowadays for productivity estimations is replaced by a comprehensive reliability procedure that involves Monte Carlo simulations. Statistics and past recordings of failure rates and repair times of wind turbines in operation constitute the inputs for the proposed procedure. Moreover, up-to-date UK reports are used to define the reliability model of the electricity network which connects the wind system to the grid. The outcomes of the simulation procedure are exploited such that indicators, which quantify the energy production, are addressed. |
