Zusammenfassung:Electric heaters with radiant-convective heat transfer between the heating elements and the walls of the sealed housing are developed. Industrial tests show that intensification of the heat liberation from the coils by ventilation using a circulatory fan increases their life by 30–50% in comparison with existing devices, by reducing the temperature of the elements. The sealed housing permits their use in convective furnaces with protective or aggressive atmospheres.
