Zusammenfassung: | The present study evaluated the state‐of‐the‐art RGBW and quantum dot LCD technologies in both objective and subjective ways. The results show that the new technologies really improve the image qualities of LCDs in many different aspects. The drawback of RGBW LCD is seems to be overcome by a color recovery algorithm and the unevenly gamut expansion of quantum dot LCDs are acceptable to observers. |
