A profile analysis of former athletes of the Brazilian professional football coaches

The aim of this paper is to identify the profile of coaches who were the elite athletes os Brazilian football. Football is a sport of high visibility and turned into a business of high numbers. This market has consolidated the coaching profession. We interviewed seven coaches who were athletes and are currently in the function of coaches in football clubs of first division professional soccer in Brazil. From there we map a profile and build some reflections on the profession that has suffered a series of new meanings. Adapted from the source document.
