The V sub(pt) corresponded to 69.3 + or - 8.4 %VO sub(2)peak and a heart rate of 155.3 + or - 12.8 beats times min super(-1)for the combined sample. Ratings at the V sub(pt) were: A (+1.4 + or - 1.8), EE (+1.5 + or - 1.6) and RPE (4.8 + or - 1.1) for males, and A (+1.4 + or - 1.8), EE (+1.4 + or - 1.7) and RPE (5.4 + or - 1.5) for females.
