Zusammenfassung: | Although AT is a useful measure of exercise tolerance (ET), it has a drawback of requiring an evaluator, a source of subjectivity. This study was done to assess the AT by blind reading to detect changes in ET. The records of 166 patients who underwent cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPX) during cardiac rehabilitation (CR) were retrospectively reviewed. CR was hospital (the mean of 3.1/mo) and home based. The mean time elapsed between the 1st and 2nd tests was 135(SD:29) days. The mean age was 64(11), with 143 males and 23 females. The investigator A did not detect AT in 21.7% and B in 14.5%.
