Zusammenfassung:Projeto TAMAR/IBAMA (TAMAR) has been actively involved in sea turtle conservation in Brazil for the past 25 years and currently operates a network of 21 research stations in 9 states distributed along 1,100 km of coastline. TAMAR's combination of research efforts has successfully reduced the number of threats facing the five species of sea turtle that nest or forage along Brazil's coast and oceanic islands.
