Zusammenfassung:A model for predicting the three-dimensional topographic changes of a sand spit was developed by applying the BG model proposed by Serizawa et al. (2006), which was originally based on the study of Bagnold (Bagnold 1963, Inman and Bagnold 1963). The model was applied to obtain a comparison with experimental results for the three-dimensional deformation of a compound spit by Uda and Yamamoto (1991). The experimental results are reproduced significantly well by the present model and the effectiveness of the model is confirmed.
