DNA Fingerprinting Reveals Polygyny in the Lesser Kestrel (Falco naumanni)
Tella et al report a case in lesser kestrels where two females laid eggs in the same nest. DNA-fingerprinting analysis showed that the attending male fathered all but four nestlings.
