Zusammenfassung: | Many observers have noticed in recent decades a worldwide weakening of workers' representatives leading to a lack of enforcement of workers' interests. Causes of this weakness are the economic globalization, technological change and the growth of the service sector at the expense of industry, which leads to an increasing casualization of employment. These findings were obtained largely from the analysis of labor markets in industrialized countries and can not be readily transferred to less developed economies. Adapted from the source document. |
