Zusammenfassung:One male Anapausis helvetica Haenni, 1984 (Diptera, Scatopsidae) was collected in a Malaise-trap in Ringerike municipality, Buskerud (B0) between 30 May and 3 July 2004. The locality is situated at the farm Hovland close to Sokna centre. This is the first record of this species from Norway and Northern Europe as a whole.
