Demographic composition of the feeding population of juvenile loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) off Charleston, South Carolina : evidence from mitochondrial DNA markers

Mitochondrial DNA restriction-fragment length polymorphisms from the feeding population of juvenile loggerhead turtles that occupy the Charleston Harbor Entrance Channel at Charleston SC were compared to haplotypes from candidate nesting populations in order to determine the origin of the turtles.
