Zusammenfassung: | To further study the destructive response of reinforced concrete under projectile impact, a novel approach was proposed, in which the link element was chosen as a token of reinforcing steel bar and coupled with concrete element by nodes, for separate modeling of reinforced concrete with LS-DYNA code. To validate the reliability of above numerical methods, numerical simulations on the experiments by Hanchak S J were conducted and redisplay on projectiles penetrating reinforced concretes. By changing the impact location on the reinforced concrete in simulations, the function of steel bar to penetration resistance emerges expressly. The proposed numerical simulation methods may be further utilized to discuss the effect of size and area density of reinforcing bars on the perforation in reinforced concrete. |
