Zusammenfassung:[beta]-Lactam scaffolds are considered to be ideal building blocks for the synthesis of nitrogen-containing compounds. A new palladium-catalyzed oxidative carbonylation of N-allylamines for the synthesis of [alpha]-methylene-[beta]-lactams is reported.
