Zusammenfassung: | Microstomia is rarely seen in pediatric patients, but usually results from burns, trauma, or caustic ingestions. There have been multiple studies reporting various techniques for oral commissure reconstruction, but few reports in infants. The authors present another modification of previous techniques of microstomia repair performed in a 10-week-old infant using multiple z-plasties and bilateral mucosal rhomboid flaps. |
