Phenolic metabolites from rooibos tea ( Aspalathus linearis)

The processed leaves and stems of Aspalathus linearis contain hydroxylated benzoic and cinnamic acids, luteolin, chrysoeriol, quercetin, isoquercitrin, the C–C linked β- d-glucopyranosides based on four flavones and the dihydrochalcone aspalathin.
