Zusammenfassung: | A study of water quality model based on a modification of the Streeter-Phelps equation is given in this paper for predicting the dissolved oxygen (DO) profile in Lijiang River. Major factors effecting water quality are explored, and a systematic analysis is performed in this study. At the same time, a method for estimating parameters in model was developed. The results indicate that BOD, temperature and flows are the most important factors for Lijiang River. An application of the model proposed in this paper gave a good agreement with the results observed in the field. |
