Zusammenfassung:Sporidesmiella aspera sp. nov., S. claviformis, S. cornuta sp. nov., S. hyalosperma var. hyalosperma, S. incrassata sp. nov. and S. parva var. palauensis isolated from decaying litter submerged in freshwater streams in Malaysia are described and compared with other species in the genus. The genus is reported for the first time in Malaysia.
