Zusammenfassung:The forced duction test (FDT) is important during the surgical treatment of ocular motility disturbance due to orbital wall fracture, but the lack of objective standards yields various test results based on individual examiners' subjective assessments. Medial limbus abduction values of the affected eye were measured during preoperative and postoperative FDT, and the values were compared with those of the normal eye. More accurate results were obtained using the modification of the FDT in the surgical repair of medial orbital wall fracture with entrapments. The modified FDT used here in medial orbital wall fracture with limited ocular motility can contribute to more effective and positive surgical outcomes by providing an objective reference point.
