Conjugation of blocked ricin to the antibody has minimal effect on the apparent affinity of the antibody and no effect on the ribosome-inactivating activity of the ricin A-chain moiety. An application of this immunoconjugate for the prevention and treatment of graft versus host disease or tissue graft rejection is suggested. |
