Zusammenfassung: | This paper briefly reviews some of the sources of variability in outdoor exposure testing that are generally known throughout the industry. These are related to exposure site climate, seasonal effects and specific exposure options. This is followed by a discussion of more basic work relating to temperature variation observed in certain types of outdoor exposure. These temperature differences, observed on both insulated and open direct weathering racks, can have a significant impact on long-term exposure results. |
