Zusammenfassung: | In this paper, we report an infrared (IR) detector array combined with an incident-ray concentrator for improving performance characteristics, such as optical responsivity and fill factor. To achieve an improved optical responsivity, the use of an IR concentrating structure for collecting incident IR rays is proposed in this paper. This structure is combined with an IR detector by epoxy bonding. Compared with a conventional IR detector without an IR concentrator, the responsivity of the proposed IR detector with an IR concentrator increased approximately 17.5%. By applying the IR concentrator, the fill factor of the fabricated IR detector array was also increased owing to the increased input IR light in the sensing area. |
