The infiltration and functional regulation of eosinophils induced by TSLP promote the proliferation of cervical cancer cell

Highlights • Eosinophil (EOS) infiltration of the lesion site increased gradually with the progression of cervical cancer. • Hypoxia stimulated the production and release of TSLP from HeLa and SiHa cells. • TSLP stimulation led to high level of production from HeLa and SiHa cells and more EOS infilt...

Zusammenfassung:Highlights • Eosinophil (EOS) infiltration of the lesion site increased gradually with the progression of cervical cancer. • Hypoxia stimulated the production and release of TSLP from HeLa and SiHa cells. • TSLP stimulation led to high level of production from HeLa and SiHa cells and more EOS infiltration in cancer lesion. • TSLP promoted proliferation, up-regulated anti-inflammatory cytokines, and decreased CD80 and CD86 in HL-60 EOS. • Such educated EOS significantly promoted proliferation and restricted apoptosis in HeLa and SiHa cells.
