Oogenesis and ovarian development in the freshwater Crab Sodhiana iranica (Decapoda: Gecarcinuaidae) from the south of Iran

Highlights • In this manuscript, we show new information on the reproductive biology of female freshwater crab Sodhiana iranica , its structure of ovary and gonadal development. • We believe that this manuscript is appropriate for publication by tissue and cell because it provides new information on the morphology of reproductive systems, and such these studies are essential to define the reproductive cycles of animal species.
