Zusammenfassung:It is a well-known fact that precise definitions play significant role in the development of correct and robust software. It has been recognized and emphasized that appropriately defined formal conceptual framework of the context/problem domain proves quite useful in ensuring precise definitions, including those for software metrics, which are consistent, unambiguous and language independent. In this paper, a formal conceptual framework for defining metrics for component-based system is proposed, where the framework formalises the behavioural aspects of the problem domain. The framework in respect of structural aspects has been discussed in another paper.
