Zusammenfassung:The magnetic fields in the region of the polar caps of 33 single pulsars from the PRAO sample of Malofeev are found by the observed high-frequency breaks in their spectra, assuming that the radio emission is generated in the polar gap. The angles between themagnetic and rotatonal axes of the pulsars in this sample are estimated assuming dominant magneto-dipole losses. Closeness of an appreciable number of these angles to 90° in the absence of interpulses could place doubt on the assumption that magnetodipole losses dominate in these pulsars. If contrary, the current losses dominate, the high-frequency break can be used to estimate the longitudinal current through the pulsar magnetosphere.
